Lol you cannot take drunk or "under the influence" posts and use them to your advantage but that was pretty funny...(my girl is a big fan so no I have not watched two seconds of this show, I heard on here that it's from the makers of Glee).

And I know you know that is the same cracka or you wouldn't have brought it up...fingergun

I'm just messing with you dude... It was a funny post!

    Who is the same cracka?

  • I guess I'm gonna have to take a break from the UNC-Wisc game and watch this for an hour. . .

  • Well so much for the theory that ghosts can't kill the living. This episode pretty much proves burn face is alive. This episode should have been called The Temptation Of The Housekeeper.

Burn face smashed her face in with a shovel. She came back starting drama with Ben and burn face killed her. If I remember right I think Ben hit her first and burn face finished her off.

He saw it happen. He knows she's dead. But he also believes she's alive because she's standing there walking and talking. He convinced himself that burn face and her were faking it all in an extortion attempt.

He is also the one who buried her (after burn face dug the hole with his one good arm) and then he build the gazeebo on top of her grave so no one would find her. That said, I'm not sure if he knows she's REALLY dead, due to his idea that her and burn face were trying to extort money from him. So, while he initially thought she was dead, he may now think he was mistaken and she's really there, walking around. But surely he has to know she's not, b/c she just randomly pops up out of nowhere when he had no idea she was around. I think he's just completely out of it and isn't sure what is real anymore. But now that he is "starting to see things for what they really are" (e.g. he suddenly sees the maid as the old lady as she's leaving the house), he may start to realize what's going on.

On another note.....good night, how about some of the scenes with the young version of the maid last night?

  • I have a feeling that this show is going to be like LOST; after a while it just gets annoying to try to figure out what's going on.

If so, that's a good thing. Lost = hands down the best TV series ever made. There's not even a close 2nd, in my opinion.

As for how this one is progressing, I think a lot of people on here are on the right track in that we don't have a CLUE who is really alive vs. dead, except for a few we know for sure are dead.

  • I loved Lost, but by the last season (maybe the last two, I can't remember exactly) I was just really frustrated because they never explained anything. And the finale was such a huge bust.

It will be interesting to see what happens if most of the main characters end up dead. I wonder if a new family will move in next season. It seems like they're writing themselves into a corner if they want the current stars to remain the current stars. Either way, I'm hooked.

If it gets like that I'll stop watching.

Could be, I don't really know what's going on.

I think the daughter might have died when she took those pills. Hasn't been in school for 2 weeks, so she's just hanging around like all the other dead people.

She's dead, and this show is coming close to having run it's course.

Did they have a new episode last night? I thought they were off for a few weeks.

  • Yeah, I don't see how they're going to keep this going unless they have a new family move in every season. So are the babies alive? They just kind of disappeared with the dead people.

I think one was dead(the one given to the woman ghost) and the other alive. I kind of thought at the beginning that each season could have a new family move in. I'm not sure how they're going to do it but I like it so far. It just got nominated for a Golden Globe. Jessica Lange got nominated for best supporting actress but you could see that one coming a mile away. I'm pretty surprised it got nominated for best drama though. It got nominated along with Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Boss, and something else.

  • I'm still loving this show, but can't figure out how they will have another season unless they do bring in a new family. It's definitely creepy as hell.

I'm with you. I love it. Maybe Ben stays alive and becomes kind of the keeper of the house. Maybe he starts a new family. Maybe he dies and an entirely new family comes in. Whatever happens I hope young housekeeper gets back to being a naughty girl. With all the missing people why haven't the cops gotten a warrant to dig up everything in that house and the backyard?

  • Interesting episode. I was surprised no one in the house saved Ben, but I guess he had it coming.

  • I'm not sure how I feel about it. I agree with interesting.

Agreed. I thought they killed Ben way too early in the episode. They should have made the entire season finale about him trying to get out of the house with the baby so you're wondering if he's going to make it away. Then kill him off at the end of the show as a wha-BAM! moment and end it with him reuniting with his dead family and the real estate agent showing the house to prospective buyers. I thought rushing in a new family (with a VERY hot mom, by the way) and then having them get out of the house all in the same episode was a bit much. I just thought it took a really cheesey turn for the worse last night.

So, now are the future seasons just going to be about them trying to scare new owners away before the bad spirits kill them and also about the little antichrist child killing people? Seems like they could have done a lot more with it.
