Thank the lord that ole Hot Steaming Pile of Manure Karl is by himself in this thread. And the majority of the people on this board have good sense. I thank the lord for that. Maybe this once great country of our will be great again.

Up voted you for being completely right. As a liberal I believe in gun rights, though I would be fine with more strict controls, and believe we have a larger problem in this country.

That problem is mental illness and the glamorization of violence. I'm guilty of loving violence in movies, TV shows, etc. Now that I think about it violence is the major human flaw. We have been obsessed with violence forever. Look at the Greeks and Romans. It stretches beyond tons of generations. We should focus on helping those in need that live with mental illness.

So it's settled then... you're just smarter than the rest of the world.

Your brain is so warped, you should donate it to science (that which you trust and worship so much)... sometime before noon tomorrow.

For one, Im not a gun nut. I don't own one. But I know guns don't pull their own triggers, guns don't go off by themselves (unless it's warmed up, or something to that extent.) The reason 90% of us bash you is because you have some of the more asinine opinions that I've ever had the misfortune to read. In all honesty, IF someone was attempting to rob me, and pulled a gun on me? If I were carrying concealed, you bet your ass I'd shoot him and protect myself. Before you say I'm a "pussy" bringing a fist to a gun fight just means I'd be getting my ass shot for no apparent reason. Evening the stakes would make the attacker realize he'd fvcked up. Boardwalk Empire is nothing compared to the RIGHT to bear arms to protect yourself and your family. Just my opinion.

People, stop attacking each other and learn to make your arguments in a more civilized manner.

I've put carl on timeout for the remainder of the month for his continued baiting and attacks of others. Let's get this place back to what we all want it to be and not some mudslinging free for all.

Just a couple points....

1) There is a special place in hell for those that would harm children. No need to dissect what occurred beyond that.
2) Guns laws will not stop crazy. Crazy just finds another way to do harm!
3) MOST of these mass shooting occur in "Gun Free" zones...Malls, Schools, Theaters, etc.
4) Australia took away many LEGAL guns back in 1996 (over 640K) & gun related crimes grew drastically. (the criminals never surrendered theirs)...The Aussie Parliament spent 18mths debating why.
5) Kennesaw, GA enacted an ordnance over 30yrs ago that made gun ownership/possession mandatory for most households (very few exceptions)...And crime drastically decreased & has stayed well below the national avg. (over 25yrs w/o a murder!)

IMO, EVERY Adult should have the right to carry a side arm...Openly in public. Every hospital/mall/school/gun free zone should have an armed officer/s on staff...(policeman not rent-a-cop security)...It is an effective deterrent!

To add to your last point - make them Veterans home from the war, or needing a job. Schools would see ZERO violence, and people would be on their best behavior. JMO.

The problem is the knee jerk reaction from gun control advocates that refuse to acknowledge the facts in front of them. Look at the specifics of the last several mass slaughters that have occured. Young disaffected males who exhibited open signs of issues yet they were able to get their hands on weapons that they NEVER should have been able to in the first place. Secondly, all these disgusting murders and shooting (except for the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords) occured in gun free zones.

I don't profess to have the answer BUT feel good gun legislation is not dealing with the issue. Lawmakers will pat themselves on the back and liberal analysts will praise the brave legislators for finally taking on the evil NRA yet the underlying issues will still persist. Our society embraces violence and actively promotes it. We have debased the value of life and desensitzed even more unstable characters who can not rationalize fantasy from reality. Ignoring the fact that the cities w/the MOST stringent gun laws still have a higher propensity for violent crime. Yes, I'm sickened and saddened by the mass slaughter that occured last week but now I'm just disheartened by the aftermath due to the self righteous stupidity of the emboldened gun control adovcates. Here's a thought that should make us ALL SHUDDER, Joe Biden is now the point man for coming up with a solution to the gun violence problem. A guy who is about as dumb as they come is now going to find the solution to all our problems. We are sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss!!!

More proof that CarlLexington and BigBlue4Life has always been the same person... AS I ALWAYS SUSPECTED!!!! Maybe some of you, who remember BB4L and the stunt he pulled on this site using multiple usernames (several months ago)... will finally agree with me.

What is it about this idiots post that makes me so sure, you ask? Well, let me start with a reminder of how it all began... 19 months ago (the exact length of time that PitinosTable has been a member), it was proven that BB4L had multiple usernames and was, maliciously, using them to attack other posters (ME!). He was using them to manipulate vote counts... and this went on for about 2 months before he was banned. NOTE: That was 17 months ago... when he was busted and finally banned.

For more details, as well as, very entertaining reading material, go back to some old Paddock archives and checkout the Fantasy Footbball thread (2011)... read pages 21 thru 23. You will understand why I made the claim and always suspected CarlLexington as being BB4L... even in the face of harsh resistance. In case you don't wanna go back and read that much... here's a post by BG631 in that thread:

"Okay, I'm bout to lay down some info, maybe I'm right maybe I'm wrong. . . But BB4L told me a few weeks ago via PM that he does in fact have multiple accounts on here so that he can "down vote" Jawjacker. . . Just went back and checked my PM's with BB4L. . . I asked him "do you really have more than one account like he (JJ) is saying you do?" and this is the exact response. . .

"fuck yeah I have more than one. I have like 5 or 6 that I use to downvote his ass every day. Gonna add a couple more now rotfl I messed up. I was going to really really old threads that no one looks at and downvoting him. The last couple days I've been lazy and downvoting his recent posts. Oops."

Now on to my first clue about Carllexington being BB4L... he made his first post (all of a "fishy" sudden) after being a quiet "lurking" member for a few months already... and continued posting like a mad man on a daily basis. (Who the hell does that?!!). CarlLexington's profile showed that his membership began at the exact time BB4L confessed to creating several other usernames... however, he didn't start posting until a couple of months (or so) after BB4L got banned. He thought enough time had passed and that no one would suspect he and BB4L were the same person... but he was wrong. As soon as his filth started spewing across my monitor, I knew who he was... because there's NO WAY more than ONE person could exist in this whole world (much less, on the same message board), who is so outrageously idiotic, offensive, classless and downright disgusting. I posted my suspicions of him and wanted him banned months ago, but no one wanted to believe it... so we had to wait for him to hang himself (like BB4L did).

This brings us to our newest prick... PitinosTable. His post says it all... he all but confesses to being CarlLexington, so no one doubts who he is this time (and he's not denying it). So again, what makes me so sure (even more so) that Carl and BB4L are the same person... after reading the above post? Here's a clue... "19 months" (as mentioned above) and yet, he's just now making his very first post. ODD...don't ya think? FACT: PitinosTable and CarlLexington was created at the same time... an admission (and proof) that he (Carl) made up more than one username (for some sneaky reason) back in the day. Well, it just so happens that "back in the day" was the same mysterious day BB4L admitted to creating several other names.

I think the proof is in the shitty pudding... and his sorry ass is busted again for who he truly is. This justifies my claim of knowing, all along, that ALL three of these pathetic posters are the same sick person... BB4L, CarlLexington and PitinosTable. Not to mention, Katalac, Katsmeow, Firstdowned and the many other names he's been lurking with.

What does CarlLexington, mean anyway? I get Pitinostable. That just means that Carl is covered with semen. no surprise there. Now, there were times I wanted to reach through my monitor and kill the man with my barehands, but in all honesty, he made things entertaining over here. He got people talking. Not always in a positive way, but we talked nonetheless. In his absence, this board has been dead. Not that there's really been any interesting topic to discuss, I do think it signals this board's demise, though.

Every once in a while Carl would actually have some valid points to make, but most of the time it just seemed like he was on a mission to foul up as much as he possibly could. I don't get that, but that's just how some folks are, contrary & unnecessarily argumentative.
Overall, he won't be missed by many here, or at least that is how I perceive the situation.
We mostly come here to discuss our Wildcats. And yes, we do venture into other areas of discussion that from time-to-time cause other members to get 'testy', as it were, but just about the only one I can recall that ALWAYS went overboard with his responses was our buddy Carl.
