BG nailed it, real tree is nicer and more "christmassy" but the fake is way easier and you only pay for it once and get a few years out of it, if you've got young kids I'd go for the real one for the christmas magic, if not the fake would be fair enough!

We are talking about going with a "house divided" tree... a fake white tree with all blue lights and ornaments on one side and all red lights and ornaments on the other.

I'd prefer real, but it seems too complicated these days. The fakes look so much better now, it's just a lot easier to deal with them.

I'm not a tree hugger by any stretch and cut trees down to get a workout or just for recreation but that's one of things that bothers me when I go into a house with a real tree. It's already cold I don't need anymore crap for my allergies even if they give off oxygen. But I'm all for fake trees, they're awesome. No needles or nuttin'.

I've had pnuemonia, but the reason I've really been gone was I got fed up with this site and its joke if a leadership and for the first time in a long time I was no longer a paying member. (I said member huh huh huh...lovin Beavis n Butthead being back)
But i started to miss some of you guys and when went to check in it was just too weird not being able to read certain posts or threads. As well as I received a couple emails asking that I come back. So here I am.

Dont feel bad. We have a pink tree upstairs for the girls as well. My neighbor, also the chick that cuts my hair, keeps a tree up year round and decorates it according to the season or holiday. Of course that one is fake.
