Does Your Wife Speak Openly About Her Celebrity Crushes?

  • If so, how long do you allow her to continue... before you cut off her supply of oxygen?

    Seriously, we have no problem talking openly about celebs we'd like to "mingle" with. She has always known about my thing for Alyssa Milano and Halle Berry. If I see a celeb whose hot, I'm not afraid to say so... she does the same thing. Right now, it's Trace Adkins for her... and she has always had a thing for Sam Elliott.

    Any of you freaks have a relationship like that? biggrin

  • There is nothing wrong with this, IMHO. If she isn't willing to be open and honest about something that trivial then you have communication issues or trust issues and need therapy.

    My wife thinks Adrian Brody is hot. I think he looks like a rat...but I guess I shouldn't question her taste in beauty.

  • OK, first things firs, Kooky... nice job with the (fist pump) that what funny. LOL.

    Me and my wife each have a list of 1 to 3 names (mine is always 3 while she usually has but 1 or 2) that we simply refer to as
    "The list" We try to have fun with it. See, your allowed to take a name off the other persons list, but only if they agree with the replacement. LOL.

  • My wife may say she thinks someone is cute celebrity wise, Gerard Butler is one right now. The only thing I have really said to her, is that if Shakira was to ask me to marry her, well it was a good run for us. She knows I think Eva Mendes is flat out perfect but she also knows I wouldnt trade anyone for her (wife). We never take it to the personal level though. Only celebrities.

    Pretty much the same with us. "The list" is basically our "green light" for adultery should we ever meet one of the people on the list. LOL. So, for our marriages sake and for my love of life without prison bars we kept it celebs. LOL. Neither of us are really jealous people at this point in our lives. When I was younger I was insane jealous. I've even gone off on checkout guys at Walmart for glancing too long LOL (my wife is breathtaking) but now I'm basically like "if you can hurt it, you can have it" LOL

    My wife and I are the same way. We are very secure in our relationship. Like Cobby said, if you can't have fun and speak openly about celeb fantasies... then, you need therapy.

    Since watching Dancing with the Stars, my wife has added Rick Fox to her list. Now, her list is getting longer than mine... I have some catching up to do. biggrin

    Trace Adkins? Really? I don't get the sexual appeal that he allegedly holds. It's really kind of annoying to me that he plays it up so much, but I guess it works, as witnessed by your wife.

  • Anyone see that episode of King of Queens when Doug and Carrie are talking about their "fantasy" person. Carrie names some celebrity and asks Doug who his is. He answers, "that girl who does your hair." Freakin riot. lol

    I saw that episode... very funny.

    Btw... Trace Adkins is one of the biggest supporters of our Military... out of ALL celebs. He has another great Military related song called "Arlington". I always loved his song called "Every Light In The House Is On".

    My wife is the same way... she has NO PROBLEM admitting her attraction to certain females. It's funny... she has her own celeb crushes, but she tends to show a liking to those on my list as well. biggrin I think women say dirty ish like that, because they know it drives us INFREAK'INSANE!!!
