Congratulations! You'll like it there, I think. But it does get cold in the winter, and they get lots of snow, but overall the folks up there are very nice and friendly.

It's called an "exchange" because you can go to almost any college in the United States, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, etc. The reason I'm going to Idaho is because its close to Washington State University where I originally wanted to "exchange" with. Personal reasons geared my decisions, so I won't get into that. Either way, it should be fun.

Idaho is amazingly beautiful. I would love to visit there. Have fun with it and make the best out of it and it should be a wonderful experience. If nothing else you get to try something new you may not have had the chance to. Congrats Mike.

Same here. Would love to see Idaho and Montana, those areas of the U.S. that are still in many ways the way they were 200 years ago.

Scotland is beautiful, just not Glasgow city centre, Edinburgh city is wonderful and the countryside is delightful; I'm heading up with my girlfriend (from Arizona) to the St Andrews area this summer and I think she's gonna love it!

As for international flying in the last ten years I've visited 19 countries and flown over 50 flights and it's fine, I've met business people who do that many flights in a 3 month period, if you get the chance to do it you really really should =) (and give me a shout if you do and I can help with anything!)
