In my league I commish, I was 15-0...
And thanks to Romo I lost in the semis.
That has happened yo me so many times I've grow to hate the playoffs. Lmwao. But it really does suck to have the best team and lost because of one bad week of injury.

I hate playoffs, too. Like Tommy, this season I went undefeated until the final game of the year in one of my leagues. It was the championship and I started Romo (also like Tommy). I still only lost by 2 points. So if I start any one at all...ANYONE at all, other than Romo, I win easily. That blows to be so good all year, even at the end, and still find a way to lose on a fluke.
So I see the logic in saying NO PLAYOFFS! And I'd always be open to it.
But to be the devil's advocate, the playoffs exist to mimic real life sports. The Packers this season are easily the best team in football, but in the playoffs they could end up losing by some odd fluke and not get the title they deserve. Same in every other major league sport. It's true to life.
Plus, playoffs give everyone an equal chance to win. For example, in another one of my leagues (a 12 teamer) this year I lost my first 6 games. I then rattled off a 10 game winning streak and SOMEHOW made a 4 team playoff. It was a miracle. But I didn't have any where close to the 4th most points in the league scored. Thus with my record, or total points scored, I would have been out a long time ago and would have even stopped trying...because I had nothing to play for. That would kill the integrity of the game and give easy wins to guys fighting for the title. You can hope it won't happen that way, but it will. People will always give up.
So I get the logic in both wanting playoffs and not wanting them.

Ouch Tommy, thats a bad one! Is this league of yours an online one or an in person one with friends? If its online I'd be interested in getting involved next season?

Its online. It was my favorite league. Something like your OTT league but not so much. We had 2 QBs and standard across the board as far as line ups.
For scoring I tweeness it a bit. I added bonuses for 40+ yard catches, passes, and runs, as well as bonuses for 40+ yard TDs.
I wanted to add some scoring but not go crazy. I'd say the avg score was 250-275 per week. Ill send you an invite for sure if we do it again.

We only had 8 this year, a couple of guys backed out. I'd like to do 10, 12 can get a little too much IMO.

Those will be costly, but I heard Tebow jersey prices fell over the last couple of weeks.

Speaking of Stafford, how does he throw for 5,038 yards (3rd in NFL) and 41 TDs (2nd in NFL) take his team to the playoffs for the first time since 99' and NOT make the pro bowl???? I get Rogers, I get Brees, and even tho Eli had a career year, you GOTTA give the nod to Stafford over Eli. BTW, Tebow is an alternate...Stafford isn't ( last time I checked. ) I don't hate Tebow but Cmon man.

Beats me man, Stafford had the 5th best year in yards that a QB has ever had, EVER and doesn't make the Pro Bowl? Ridiculous.
How much do jerseys run these days? 80 bucks or so?
