I've seen people say the series follows the books exactly. I knew Arya becomes a bad ass and she's little now so I figured she wouldn't grow up that much in one season. That's the only reason I said she's safe. How many books are there? How long can this series last? I'm hoping forever. I can't wait to see Joffrey die. I'm assuming he dies. He has to. They better not have him get a change of heart and become a good guy. In the words of Early Kyler, "that'd be a bunch a bull mess".

Let's see. Jon Snow. Ned Starks bastard. His stepmother, and mother of Ned's other children, hates him. Who is Snow's mother? Ned said he would tell him next time they spoke. That's not happening. Oh and I'm not literally asking you so please don't say lol Being groomed to lead. Seemed closest to Arya who is on her way to where he is, if she makes it!! What else? He killed a white walker thing or whatever they're called. Gets along with Tyrion. I guess I haven't noticed anything out of the oridinary. Are you maybe talking about his mother or standing in the family?

I think the iron throne gets passed around. I think way in the future roberts bastard son that's with arya will become king of the south. I think some stark will be king of the north at that time. I think Roberts bastard son and Arya fall in love way before that. I think they marry and unite the kingdom and rule with fairness and peace. And I know there is a 99.99999% chance I am not even in the same ballpark.
Keep Calm & Stoops On..

Last nights episode wasn't really that good. It was if you followed along all last season, but honestly if I hadn't done so I'm not sure there was enough there to have made me even finish the first episode.
That is what happens when you kill off all the lead characters in series right off the bat. There is no star power as of right now, only the hope. If they are not careful this will get cancelled before it ever gets to the good part. As a new fan there was nothing exciting in that episode and it's too complicated to catch on in one show. JMO

Lol..not forgetting Bran Stark..but Arya is one of my personal favorite characters and the hbo series really nailed the tomboyish, loveable adventurous miss Arya!! She is just so adorable and fun, she is an exciting character at all times!! Her sword that Jopn Snow gave her is called Needle. I could really give you some spoilers for Arya that would surprise you..cuz Im an avid G.R.R Martin fan and have read all the books more than once or twice each! I will say there is eventually a imposter Arya..lol. Martin is the only author that keeps it real...his heroes have flaws, his villans some redeeming qualities...and anyone can die at anytime! If you have read the books like me...you know that most of the prominent characters in book 1 are dead or missing by the end of book 3!!And by most i mean most...really interested to see how many get knocked off in season 2 on hbo! Just watched the season 2 opener..it was ok...not great..i hope they dont keep trying to tell too many characters stories in each episode...i thought that the broke up...linear storyline left too much for the wanting...basically you got to see 4 to 5 minutes of each character..and a little longer for the new guys like Stannis Baratheon.

They're assuming you're caught up. Are they supposed to run down each character and each plot each and every show? That's impossible. In most shows you can't just pick up everything in one show. Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Sopranos, and so on. That episode was basically just catching everyone up on the characters we know and introducing new ones. I thought they did a great job with that. It laid out some of the plots of the season. The comet, Brans dreams, they are now coming for Roberts bastard and so by extension Arya, and other stuff. Not every episode can be war and there has to be some plots established before they can start twisting them.

Ned Stark, King Robert Baratheon, and Khal Drogo were all likeable characters and played by good actors.
I was really waiting to see Drogo kick some ass. Ned was the lead man of season one, half the show revolved around him and his family. If King Robert hadn't died that little twit that's king now wouldn't be in charge. Think about this... 3 good guys are gone and that witch Cersei Lannister is still breathing air. Just isn't fair

Dude, you know that kid has nailed his character (Joffery) as an actor when I would totally beat his ass if I ever bumped into him, all while screaming "your a shitty king!" "This is for Ned!" and other stuff. LMWAO.
