Healthy or Wealthy...

  • If you could only be one or the other for the rest of your life, which one would you prefer?

I wanna say healthy... but then again, being wealthy would allow me to leave more for my children and grandchildren. However, I have to think, which is more important to them... having me around longer or having me die sooner cuz of bad health, but inherit a small fortune? This is tough, but I would hope that my "health" is worth more to my family, than ANY amount of "wealth"... and that they would prefer I live longer. (if given the choice)

With that said... I'd rather be "healthy" the rest of my life.

  • I'd rather have health. For my family, there are many factors contributing to bad health. My grandfather has a debilitating disease, so I'd want to see him cured, my grandma has dementia, or the first stages, etc. I'd rather see them healthy than myself or anyone else wealthy. Though, I do wish my Mom had a small fortune to help out. She deserves it.

    Keep Calm & Stoops On..

  • Healthy, no question.

  • "Healthy" is on a roll here... I'm glad to see it's the popular choice.

I'll play BB4L on this one: Wealthy. Because who would be so selfish to choose themselves over the future well-being of their family? Why do you think Mrs. Puhols wants more money? So they can take care of their great-great-great-great-great grandchildren. What you see from the classy family of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Puhols is a great and selfless thing in society!!! peace

  • You realize its Pujols right?

This one is a tough call. Obviously I don't want terminal cancer. Then you die and you can't enjoy the wealth. Your family obviously could but I don't think my daughter would want that over a dead dad. Now my wife different story. lol. I think I'd have to go with healthy. In the end does wealth matter. I guess in the same light you could say in the end does health matter cause your going to die anyway. I think living a full happy life and getting to enjoy your grandchildren and working hard everyday for what you've got and learning to live off what you make is the way to go. It would be nice to have the wealth to help others but there's plenty of stuff you can do to help others that requires no money. Love your god, love your family to the max everyday, and help others. Thats what I'm going to strive to do and that requires health not wealth.

That sums it up perfectly. +1

Yes, but Puhols looks better with the pronunciation.

    Good take BTW.
