  • Only those that have been there and done it really, truly know what goes through a GI's mind when they're stationed in some 3rd world $h*&%#le where the natives look at you with hatred and disgust, while you think of your family so far away and wonder what they're doing during the holidays.
    Just knowing that they're safe and can enjoy the happiness of those same holidays makes it all worthwhile, but it doesn't diminish that lonely feeling that we who have served know all too well.

    All of that aside, Merry CHRISTmas to all of you here, and to all of my fellow troops, officers, firefighters and paramedics serving wherever in the world you may be! God bless you all! Hoooaaah!

  • It was an honor to serve this country... especially, what it stands for. I will ALWAYS honor all of those who have served before, during and after me.

    Words cannot express the level of gratitude I have for the men and women of our great military... especially, those who volunteered in a time of war.

    I wish ALL those in uniform (civilian and military) and their families and very happy and "safe" holiday season.
