I'll see your biased piece and raise you two fact checks that say this is a bogus claim. There is a LOT more evidence to back the Romney claims than you care to know. Bottom line is as w/all previous Obama charges against Romney's time at Bain, they are LIES. But when you've got nothing to run on, lying is about all you have left!

Dude I'm still not positive if Obama is even eligible to be President of this country. Everything about the guys smells funny. And he's taken this country to all time lows in the modern era. It only looks to be getting worse. We don't have solid facts on any of it. Just depends on which media channel you wanna listen to. Its all stupid. Bottom line we have possibly the worst candidates in the history of this country running for office. We need a savior and neither guy is it. At least I feel like Romney might buy us some time before a total collapse to find a great man to put in office. Hell it might even be a great woman these days.

I recall you saying you didn't know much about politics. With that statement I believe it. It looks like your getting your politics from jawjacker, limbaugh, and fox news. Nothing about your statement is correct. The man has shown his birth certificate. His birth has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt. More jobs have been created in the 3 years of Obama than the entire 8 years of Bush. There are a lot of facts. You won't find many on fox news or from people like jj. Romney will do nothing but enact the exact same kinds of policies as Bush which are the policies that got us in this mess in the first place. Romney himself said he would go back to Bush policies. 17 of his 21 advisers are former Bush advisers. If you want rich getting richer, poor getting poorer, and full fledged depression Romney is your guy.

Well he hasn't been president like Obama, you know the POTUS that has us in the worst recession we've seen in the modern era and has created policies that will only make it worse. Will he make mistakes of course. Obama is perfect though right. Well then why is it that I hear all over the place that he's killing this country? We're in extreme debt and he's coming up with policies that would put us in extreme debt even if the budget was balanced not to mention increased taxes w/his healthcare garbage. At least Mitt understands the free market which is what this country was founded upon. So please enlighten me more. You and Carl both.

OK, now we've gone from Romney lies, which the evidence at hand by two INDEPENDENT organizations says he didn't, to he won't release his tax returns. You can wonder all you like, Romney has released what is required by law. The only reason you know about his foreign investments is due to him releasing 2010 returns and other financial disclosures.

Romney is the biggest nerd that's run for national office in a LONG time. He may be a lot of things but criminal and unethical isn't among his list of shortcomings. Do I wish he'd release the last ten years of tax returns?? Yeah I guess so but I can see why he doesn't as the Chicago hit machine will spin every investement and nickel made into a narrative of some nefarious and greedy tycoon crapping on the little guy.

Lastly, all this noise doesn't change the fact that Obama is an incompetent fool who believes in the nanny state and is driving our economy into the ground. We are well on the way to bankruptcy (not all his doing but certainly accelerated under his watch) and he's got no clue how to get the economy turned around. So if your inept, have an abysmal record to run on, and no clue what needs to be done, the only thing left to do is make your opponent look worse than you and that's exactly what's occuring w/all this Bain crap.

It's all related and goes back to his dishonesty and highly questionable business ethics. The man invested in a company that's an "outsourcing pioneer".

I never said criminal. Unethical, for sure. And dishonest. The reason he won't release them is because he's exactly that, a greedy tycoon getting rich on cutting jobs and sending them overseas. He probably doesn't want the world sniffing around his tax dodging efforts. I wonder if the gay kid he held down and cut his hair would think he's unethical. I wonder if the blind teacher he walked into a door thinks he's unethical. The guy is a lying weasel. And no nerd compares to Paul Tsongas.

Competent enough to save the country from a depression and to kill Bin Laden. We are on our way to bankruptcy because the republicans in congress stall everything he tries to do. Obama has cut and is willing to cut more spending. Cutting spending won't do it. You need revenue as well. Like letting the TEMPORARY tax breaks for those making 250 grand a year expire. The repugs even fight that. Jobs bill gathering dust. No President in history has ever been obstructed like this one. It's a miracle he's got done what he has and despite repugs trying to make him fail at every turn we're still in recovery. "Bain crap". Even the republican Alabama Governor says he needs to start answering some of these questions.

It's hard to debate when all you do is reguritate Democratic talking points like Bain is an "outsoucing pioneer". Axelrod and Plouffe would be proud of you.

Romney spent 20 plus years in the business world w/o a whiff of ethics issues. He helped build a very successful company from scratch, helped a lot of businesses and yes, made a LOT of money doing it. So what's the BFD??? Your narrative that Romney and Bain were ruthless corporate raiders has been rebuffed over and over again by Politifact and Factcheck yet this doesn't deter libs from continuing to propogate a lie. Why do they do this?? Again, because of the PATHETIC record of Obama. Boo friggin Hoo. Those mean nasty Republicans just keep Obama from getting anything done. Need I remind you he had a filibuster proof Senate and a Dem led house for his 1st two years. He still has a strong majority in the Senate but the reason nothing gets passed is Harry Reid won't allow for amendments or debates on key bills so he just tables everything.

Lets face it, our President sucks and so does the Congress. There are very few who are showing leadership and at the end of the day, it's all about maintaining power than it is getting something of substance done for the American people. Barack Obama is just as guilty for this poisonous environment as anybody!

The bottom line is that Romney is trying very hard to run away from a company he founded.

The ethical issue here is whether he should be able to disassociate himself from his past. I don't see the SEC filing as necessarily an ethical breach. The firm, and maybe him, would clearly be guilty of serious SEC violations under current law, but it would have been much milder in the early 90s--probably a minor fine at worst.

Romney has brought this all on himself. He founded a firm that is extremely secretive (and has to be), made a fortune, and now has chosen to go into politics. He's got to be prepared to stand up to the scrutiny of his record and by not making that record completely available, he's going to suffer from the resulting speculation.
