Ryan's other extreme disadvantage is that he's developed a precise and well-drawn view of the role of government and how it should play in the economy. (I disagree with it, but it's a thoughtful plan with little regard for political popularity). But Mitt is moving further from that position every day. How much will Ryan have to censor what he really thinks so as not to besmirch Mitt's attempt to get back to the center?

I have a bad habit of avoiding movies which highlight actors with whom I disagree on their political, social or moral views which include clooney, penn, sarandon, allen, moore, et al.
Clooney in Oh brother, where art thou was an unusual (and enjoyable) exception.

So basically you don't watch good movies. Oh and it's not that I don't understand. I used to like Mike Rowe. Not anymore. Same with John Elway. But I'll still watch an Eastwood film if he's directing it. I won't be watching this girly crap, trouble with the curve, he has out now though. Not because of his politics but because it had Justine Timberlake in it and Amy Adams pretending to be just an average tomboy is beyond annoying. She's beyond annoying unless she's getting naked.

That movie was only watchable because Amanda Seyfrieds fine arse arse was bouncing her chesticles all over the place in it. If you haven't seen it check out Mystic River. Eastwood directed. Sean Penn won the best actor oscar and Tim Robbins won the best supporting actor for it. Hate their politics all you want but those guys are excellent at their craft and Mystic River has some of the best acting in movie history. When asked if he'd work with Eastwood again Penn replied, "in a heartbeat".
