Rush Limbaugh: You So Crazeh

  • I think Rush Fatbaugh is back on the pills because he's seeing conspiracy like Alex Jones. Now there's a connection between Romney(Bain) and The Dark Knight villain, Bane. Never mind Bane was invented in 1993 before Romney ever ran for office. Facts annoy the drug addict almost as much as it annoys his stupid and ignorant audience.

  • Could care less what that moron says. I think both sides can agree this here is ridiculous.

    Thats both sides.

Rush is no doubt crazy and so is Alex Jones but I find both interesting.

Mark Levin is my favorite guy to listen to on the radio. He's obviously conservative but he'll call out both Rep's and Dem's. I like his conservative views on the constitution and his ideas about the free marketplace. The guy just makes a lot of sense IMO. His only downfall at times is the fact that he'll rarely even let libs get out a word on his show but at the same time I can understand.

  • IIRC, Bane is a Mexican or South American or something. Instead of this craziness, Rush oughta be leading a boycott against this movie for letting immigrants take the jobs of God-fearing white American-born super villains.

  • Now that was nicely done.

    Edit: is this internet sarcasm?

I can understand too. Hannity does that too. When a liberal is presenting things like facts and start owning him he'll just brow beat them and rant and rave so the person can't be heard. Another trick they like to use, especially fox news, is if they even allow a lib on they'll choose the dumbest, weakest, most passive lib they can find so they're easy prey. Hannity And Colmes is a great example. O'Reilly will have a decent lib on very rarely. He's the only one.

  • It's Rush, what do you expect? I have no idea if he was serious or doing one of his famed satires... Don't care as I don't listen to that fat windbag.

You do realize that the MSLM does the exact same things you are blasting Fox for.

mark Levin is okay but only in small doses as his ranting, yelling, and talking over people is annoying as hell. Also, his voice... ugh... not a radio voice by any means.

  • I wonder if Rush's idiotic attention-seeking ravings have finally cost people their lives.

  • That would be the equivelant of blaming video games for violence. I don't care for Rush but to blame anyone in the entertainment business for the actions of others is absurd.

  • It's a crazy dude. He probably has some political views-whichever side, but it's completely immaterial to this tragedy and anybody who tries to make it so should be turned off.

They aren't giving any motive that I've seen yet. Apparently he was disturbed. I think asking how a mentally disturbed individual can get his hands on all those guns and all that ammo is a valid question.

I've noticed that too. Their "liberal" guests are like the Washington Generals. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that some of those so-called "liberals" are actually actors. You never see them pop up anywhere else.

For someone who likes to bash people for watching Fox News, you sure seem to know a lot about it... you must be a "closet" Fox fan.

Other than Hannity, who I really can't watch very often due to his obnoxiousness, most of the Fox commentary does provide venues to both sides. The Five is obviously stacked but I don't think Beckel is a shrinking violet, just old. I've seen O'Reilly give Ingraham, Mary Katherine Hamm, Bernie Goldberg and other conservative pundits a fair amount of grief. As for Rush, he's more entertainer than he is serious political commentary and it's because of his shtick that he gets so many listeners. But lets be honest, Ed Schultz, Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Matthews etc are equally, if not more, just has big lefty hacks as any conservative pundit. Their problem is they just don't have much of a following/audience.

  • ^ The "after 6:00" cable news is getting so biased it is getting harder to watch a good debate anymore like the old CNN Crossfire for instance. I do watch Matthews each night. He has a lot of serious Republicans on the show including sitting Senators like Coburn, and Cornyn, Congresswomen Marsha Blackburn is a frequent guest to name a few. He also has had the NRA guy on there and some of the top Tea Party officers. Chris is a lib but he grills both sides pretty hard sometimes which is what I like about his show. I Like to hear both sides but I like a commentator that ferrets out the BS. Chris Wallace at Fox is maybe the best at that - also pretty balanced IMO.

You are really showing your age going back to Crossfire. I still remember the original w/Pat Buchanon and Michael Kinsley and that probably set the standard for political debate/commentary! Those guys were good.

CNN does a pretty good job of being balanced. They always have libs and cons in equal numbers and brightness when they debate something.

Limbaugh is an entertainer (a very successful one at that) nothing more. Those that attack him with venom and hate are the ones who have really been duped. Not to mention the left's own litany of hate mongers and vitriol spewers; ed schultz, lawerence o'donnell, keith olbermann, bill maher, etc.

Conservative take him with a grain of salt, plus he gets under the progressive's skin and that is viewed with immense humor and aplomb.

Complete bullshit. I know Rush fans. It isn't entertainment only. They take every word as gospel. He wouldn't be the keynote speaker at CPAC if he was just entertainment. He has set the mind set of conservatism for the last 10 years. Repug politicians are too scared to take him on. Comparing the people you listed to Rush and calling them hate mongers is laughable. Rush is a racist, homophobic, sexist fat drug addicted hypocritical coward.

Rush is an entertainer. I think he thinks he's an entertainer, or at least he started out that way. I think he never expected people to take him seriously (and it's disingenuous to suggest they don't).

As for the people you list as being Rush's equal on the left--I think it's self-evident that they're not on Rush's level when I'm pretty sure you didn't even get two of the names right (or at least I can't figure out who you're talking about).
