No offense but I don't really care if you're offended or not. I stole the entire bit from a movie. Shake and Bake!! If it offends you so much write a letter to Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. There's an ignore function here. If I start offending you on a consistent basis you could always click the ignore button and read me no more. I forgive you for your lack of a sense of humor. And baby jesus forgives you for your insincere backhanded forgiveness. In baby jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I have a sense of humor and it functions quite well. Forgive me for not watching the same movies as you. Also, I find Will Ferrell's comedy quite rediculous. Your words remind me of a 10 year old crying out for attention. And I really couldn't care less what you think about me and my morals. However, my "insincere backhanded forgiveness," as you stated, was quite sincere. You have your right to freedom of speech and I appreciate that. Just wanted to voice mine. And yes, I will certainly place you on my ignore list to avoid any future unpleasantness. Have a nice life.

It was a personal attack. Read it. "From the ONE person wishing death on people". What false claim? What false claim were you calling me out on in your original attack? It was just a shot at me. No reason for it. Just to do it. And you're really one to talk about hizzy fits when you run to mods whining and crying about me being someone else. Demanding I be dismissed. Pouting and picking up your ball to go home when you didn't get your way. You are laughable. The only reason you're still here is because you pay. That's it. I haven't wished death on anyone. But I pray to glorious baby jesus every night for your death. I say "oh lord baby jesus of the sky and the world please let a bus smash into JawJackers grotesque face. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh blue eyed bald headed baby jesus call your disciple home to you. Oh baby jesus in your wisdom will you please call JawJerker home so he can stop failing you on a daily basis in this sinful world. Oh baby Jesus lover of rednecks, guns, beer, and nascar racing please please let a bus or a train or a large object smash JawLicker until he be dead. In lord baby jesus name I pray. Amen" I say that 3 times a day.

Was it really "praised" by the left? I never even heard of it Here's what one prominent lefty named Hilary Clinton said: ""I think it's despicable. I think it's absolutely outrageous. That anyone would even attempt to profit on such a horrible scenario makes me sick."
The issue here isn't that Nugent is a crazy, outrageous right winger. There are just as many, probably more, crazy, outrageous left wingers. The question isn't whether his comments are better or worse than the concept of a British movie nobody has seen. The question is whether anybody on the respective sides pays attention to the loonies. Clinton was a major party candidate, or she was soon after, and she apparently condemned this movie. I don't know that the producers or stars were on Rachel Maddow at any point.
On the other hand, either despite or because of Nugent's comments, he's recently had a friendly conversation with the Republican nominee for president. He's been on Huckabee and Hannity--probably others.
The sad truth of the whole thing is that politicians and political pundits are terrible star-touchers. They all want to hang out with celebrities, but Republican celebrities are so sparse, they'll tolerate somebody as outrageous and hopelessly out of date as the Nuge.

First of all, saying "from the ONE person who has a bad habit of wishing death on those who disagree with his beliefs" AGAIN, is NOT a personal attack.... it's the truth. Second of all, I was NOT calling you out on a false claim in my original post.... I was doing that in my SECOND post. You need some help reading or what?
As for the rest of your sad little rant, God don't answer prayers from those who worship Satan and make a mockery of Jesus..... Get over it

Ties being a fellow professor at a prestigious university--that he hadn't talked to in years.
Mitt called Nugent and asked for his endorsement. I'm not saying there's any further tie--I don't think Mitt would have talked to Nugent under any other circumstances and would probably mess his drawers if he ever had to be in the same room with him. But he's such a compulsive panderer, he can't help himself.

Thanks JJ! There are times for all of us to agree to disagree. But, I think "some" take things a bit too far. I called him out on it and I'm the bad guy, I guess. Oh well; life goes on! GO BIG BLUE! (afterall, that is the central theme of this site last time I checked, right?)
For those of us that pay our hard earned money to be members of this site, we should not be subjected to that foolishness. If he wants to start multiple topics for debate that do not involve UK Athletics, he should go somewhere else. I'm not opposed to occasional opinion based threads, but there have been far too many as of late (for my liking anyway). Sorry to ramble...how about that baseball team, huh?
