"Let me have a Three Musketeers, and a ball point pen, and one of those combs there, a pint of Old Harper, a couple of flash light batteries and some beef jerky."
It smells like microwaved homeless people in here.
The photo of the cat at the counter reminded me of a scene from the 1973 movie American Graffiti. Terry "The Toad" Fields (Charles Martin Smith) a high school kid has a hot date with an older woman. He tries to buy some whiskey at a liquor store. He tells the clerk he wants a candy bar, a ball point pen, a comb, some Old Harper (whiskey) etc. The clerk still cards him and of course he has no ID, says he forgot it and he left it in the car.
A scene which of course brought back memories of my own forlorn youth.

HA gotcha now. I always loved the scene in Dazed and Confused where the kid goes to buy the sixer. "Workin for the city, it keeps a little change in my pocket, ya know"
