    I am pumped. I was a bit disappointed last season. Season 3 looks whole lot better, and...

  • Badass episode to start the season. I was nervous just watching when they were exploring the dark hallways near the end.

  • Hell yeah. They came out of the gate strong. I think the creators got tired of hearing about not enough zombie killing. They took note lol And how great is it to watch an episode without the annoying Shane preening around like a proud rooster? It's great is what it is.

  • Question: Will Hershel bleed out and die, and if so, will they kill him before he turns into a Walker? I know Rick cut off his leg in hopes of preventing the firus from spreading from the bite up to the rest of his body, but I thought everyone was already infected. So it seems like he chopped off his leg for nothing, right? Another thought....do these new people they found possibly have a cure? I'm just curious if Hershel is already gone, just like that.

    Everyone is infected, but only if he dies.

    So, Hershel will only turn zombie, if he bleeds out and dies.

    The episode was badass...

    but the show itself has 1 major issue. Which is...they aren't very smart. LOL

    But other than that, this episode was freaking AMAZING...

  • Well my take is that everyone is infected but it's dormant. So if you die it takes effect but if you get bit by a walker whatever it is gets in your bloodstream and kills you. Hence turning you into a walker. That's all I can figure that makes sense. Hershel could live. Although if we're being realistic in that situation without modern medicine he'd die of blood loss or infection within a few days. I'm sure they'll miraculously find some antibiotics. Then again a one legged old man would slow them down. If they ever have to move fast Hershel will become a casualty.

    1. No one knows the answer your question. I think they have deviated from comic book so much anyways.

    2. I think there are 2 things that's happening. 1 is something dormant that takes over once you die. Other is more direct contact with walkers that infests once you get bitten, or scratched.

    3. cure for? I don't think Walking Dead is about curing but more about people way people responds and change in these environment.

    4. Hershel can live, they need to stop the bleeding. but chances are...SLIM. Dude's old, getting his leg chopped off. I doubt you can survive through that.

    I'm right there with you, I just started on Netflix on Tuesday, I'm up to the 3rd episode of season 2 right now. . .trying to get caught up by sunday night. . .like it a lot so far. . .

  • I loved season 1, that was well done.

    To be honest i didn't like season 2 till the end of the season. The first half was dreadfully slow...

    Luckily season 3 started with a bang and I am happy to see that.

    Hopefully, season 3 can continue the action.

  • You noobs won't regret getting into it. It's a top five show. GOT, Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, American Horror Story. That's it. That's the list. Can't go wrong getting into any of them.

    Just finished episode 9 season 2. Let's say I found a new show, ha. Never got into it because HBO always has my favorite show on Sundays. Thanks to Netflix I had a chance to get into this.

    I run into that too. They always show an encore of the walking dead right after the premiere. So I always watch my hbo show first and then catch the second airing of walking dead. I ran into this dilemna when GOT was on and now I'm dealing with the Boardwalk Empire time. Breaking Bad has the same problem

    I agree with that list, except for Breaking Bad. I have tried to get into it, but can't get interested.

  • Just finished season two. Unfortunately, Netflix doesn't have the season premiere up. I guess I'll be missing that episode.

    but if i have known that it was going to be on walking dead's main webpage. Not sure if i would have gotten it.

    Trying to see which one comes up first the itune or walking dead webpage. So far, after hour and 40 minutes, neither itune or webpage has episode 2 yet.

    HBO was way better. If you had HBO channels, then you can long onto HBO and watch it streaming 5 minutes after tv starts. (technically speaking, you are already paying for those, so i guess it's not the same thing.)

  • Tear jerker episode. But the machette to the convicts egg made up for it. MERLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you watched Talking Dead after Walking Dead last night you know Merle is back next week.
