The Left wants him to be so much more than he really is. No way he's the "Person of the Year", much less a Nobel Peace prize winner either.

He's just like most of the Left, a phony wanna-be that doesn't stack up compared to a real leader. JMHO.

Thing is... he has no idea how phony he really is. Even the Dems in DC know it... they've been using him like a trained puppet. He's been nothing more than a political prop for the left... to conceal their racism and to pretend their party represents the minority. Does anyone really think Obama's awards (NPP or POY) came because he actually "earned" or "deserved" them? Much less, him being elected as POTUS. Hell no... his only claim to fame is his skin color. He's just too blind or foolish to see it... or has an ego that would never allow him to admit it. Most likely, the latter. However, I can't blame Obama... I would ride that phony white guilt train too if I were him. I think it's evil the way the left have used him for nothing more than his minority status... exploiting him for their own political gains. The evil white left... always making empty promises to the same voters they continue to oppress. It's sad how they manage to fool their voters (election after election) with the same damn scare tactics. It shows how dumb America has become. SMDH.

Like the right to own a gun... citizens should have to prove they are mentally stable or intelligent enough to vote, before they are allowed to exorcise that right.

The one thing you said that makes me question who you were replying to... is the comment "you don't like the thread, because he isn't the person you wanted"

I never said anything remotely close... but if you were basing that opinion on my "Hmmm... thread idea" comment, then it was you who made the false assumption. What I meant by that is... my previous statement (" Hell... I think an ignorant voter does more harm to our nation, than an ignorant gun owner") gave me a thread idea.

It's obvious he's not the person I wanted, but I never said I don't like this thread, because Obama is not the person I wanted... that don't make any sense.

I never said nothing of the sort (not even practically). I simply suggested that ALL voters (left, right, center) should have some knowledge about their party, party differences, politicians and what they stand for, etc. In a nutshell, I was suggesting that people who are completely ignorant of American politics (in general), should not be allowed to vote... because of the negative impact it could have on America, our society and our way of life. You don't want a bunch of people behind the wheel of a car, who's "ignorant" of driving or has no idea how to drive, do you? Hell no... because it puts our society in danger. You don't want someone "ignorant" of safe and proper gun use to buy a gun, do you? Hell no, because it puts our society in danger.

I'm against people doing things they are completely ignorant of... especially, when it could have a direct "negative" impact on me, my family, our country and our way of life.

How you would equate that (or anything I said) to the same meaning as "anyone who voted for Obama has mental problems", is beyond me... and pure spin.
