funny you should ask. I just lurked in one of their gheyro threads, the one that was open the day of the merge. Sounds like they didn't like Darrell and Matt at all. They seem to think most will stay over there. Enough basketball first fans have made their way over here to turn this site from 3:1 football threads to about 4:1 basketball. I suspect it's not near the number they had hoped. There seams to be about 5x the traffic over there.

It's not the quantity that counts, it's the quality... and believe me, the quality is much better over here. IMHO. For that reason, the numbers will increase more and more as people notice the difference in maturity levels.

I hear you but so far it has not translated, fact is not much drop off over there thus far as I can tell.

It won't be the regular, everyday posters who drop off. They are not who we want here anyway. It is because of most of them, that people like myself came here (to get away from all of the childish bickering, bashing and name calling). It is however, the lurkers (or readers) over there who we will soon start to get more of over here. They will even feel more at ease about posting here, because of the civility this site has compared to that one. There are hundreds more on the way... count on it.

Exactly. I have seen probably 4-5 different people state that they never posted over there but had already decided to start posting here. We have to remember that this site really isn't very old. More people will catch on. I know a few have been sitting back seeing if it turns into tcp (old) or if we keep the trend of KI and bb247.
It smells like microwaved homeless people in here.
