Who do you recommend?
Was it performed in the office or hospital?

I had one 10 yrs ago. Minor procedure in the doctor's office. Not sure what it cost me. But I will tell you this, when they say no sex for a week, they mean no sex for a week.

I had mine done a little over a year ago, in Somerset, Dr. Sean Delair was the doctor's name. I had my intial appointment, then set up the appointment at the Outpatient Surgery Center for a week later. They prescribed me two weeks of downtime and some Percocet for pain, which I really didn't need. The overall cost with all Doctor's fees, anesthesia, and the surgical center, was $3812. The best advice he gave was no lifting for 2 weeks. It took about 3 weeks for the stitches to fully disolve. Hope that helps you out some.

My 2nd child is due the 1st of Dec. and Wifey and I have talked about either me having a vasectomy or her having her tubes tied. I just can't do it. She wants me to have it done if she has natural labor, or her have it done if they do a C section. Its a pretty fair deal, but I just can't.

In your case Cobby I could understand it. Im with Tommy though I told my wife, and this IS a true story, that we could end up hating each other one day and I might wanna have more kids. So she got her tubes tied.
I do know a certain Nurse that has been wanting to clip some shit so maybe he will CUT you a discount....

My wife had her tubes tied before she even left the hospital, after our youngest son was born. That was the plan... if it's a boy, go ahead and tie'em up. If it's a girl... we'll wait. I got my boy... it's done. I've never had a reason to consider a vasectomy... thank God.

Well, I originally put "pack" until I noticed it was "carton" up above. So I changed it. But then it didn't register on my screen that it had been changed. I went to edit it again, and it was fine.

Where do you live? I just had one 10 days ago in Lexington. Was an in-office procedure. Pretty simple. No pain or swelling. Although if you saw my testicles you'd think I was a HUGE fan of the Baltimore Ravens!

I live near Frankfort ky but they only have a few choices and they have to go to the local hospital to do it and that just ads more cost for no reason, IMO.
I'm looking for a good dr who does it in the office.
$38 and a carton of cigs... "What a bargain!".
I'll let Da practice in himself a few times first. lol
