  • They went to the moon but the actual footage was faked by a hollywood film director. Stanley Kubrick. Several books written on the subject.

Faked Moon Landings and Kubrick's 'The Shining' : Discovery News

Did Stanley Kubrick film NASA's fake moon landing and then hide his veiled confession in the film adaptation of Stephen King's a decade later?

Well then its obviously true. Just so we're clear Tyrone. When I post stuff like this it doesn't mean I believe it at all. I just find it interesting to think/read about. I don't have the time to truly investigate some of this stuff for myself because I work for a living and have a family to support. I just find it fun, almost like a hobby although I much prefer playing golf or watching sporting events so that cuts my time on it down even more. I listen to coast to coast at night and they are constantly talking about stuff like this. Most of the time coast to coast is the only reason I'm aware of it. Some of these people make strong arguments and they spend their life investigating these out of the main stream ideas. They can be pretty convincing. For the most part I'm open minded to stuff like this, it could be true. But since I can't investigate it myself I just believe in the possibility of it being true. I can't buy in whole heartedly or make arguments for or against. Does that make sense, I don't know.

  • The thing is if you do convince yourself that the moon landings were faked then you start getting into what else have we been lied to about. Then you get people like John Lear who basically believe that we've been lied to about everything including 9/11. If you want to humor yourself for a couple hours go YouTube and listen to this guy.

I didn't say that "I" thought it was a hoax... I was simply throwing the question out there, because there is (and have been) many debates going on about it. There are many links on the topic that favor both sides... I just picked the most "colorful" one to see what some of you thought.

I will say this... that flag would not be looking like a strong wind was blowing, the way it appears in the photos. According to scientists/astrologists, it would be hanging downward... so I hear.

Lots of things are debated. Doesn't mean those who think it isn't true deserve any kind of a response.

So why did you post a "response"?

I'm not trying to be an ass... I'm just trying to understand.

There was a rod in the the flag pole extending out so flag would be out as seen in the picture.
