Georgia punched its ticket to the SEC Championship Game by suffocating Kentucky after halftime, turning a 10-6 deficit late in the first half into a 19-10 victory at Sanford Stadium. The Cats (4-7, 1-6) managed just 13 yards in the second half and lost their eighth consecutive conference game on the road.
Despite a game effort by the defense the Cats couldn’t overcome four turnovers, two of which came deep in their own territory and led directly to Georgia scores.
